For more information on this vehicle visit Taking the market by storm over 40 years ago, today the Chevrolet Camaro still speaks to every collector car enthusiast both young and old. Many are kept by collectors as all original time capsules, while others use the F-body platform as a blank canvas to create a modern looking muscle car. This 1969 Camaro is a near perfect example of how great a Camaro can be when you blend a mixture of modern technology with old school horsepower. The product of a complete frame-off restoration, this Camaro is stunning in every way. With a 427ci small block, a near perfect interior, and a flawless paint job, this Camaro is more than ready to win car show awards, and would be a great ride to travel in the famed HOT ROD Power Tour. Originally assembled in Chevrolet's Norwood, Ohio plant, today the body is in perfect condition after being massaged and covered in an incredible coat of Inferno Orange. What looks like just a vibrant shade of orange, actually is a member of the metallic family of paints and it really pops when this F-body rolls out in the sun. In 1969, the top of the line choice for an engine in the Camaro was a 427ci V8 that cranked out 430hp with 12.0:1 compression. Lift the 310 Classic hood hinges on this '69 Camaro and you'll reveal a very dressed up electronically fuel injected 427ci V8 that pumps out a dyno proven 580 horsepower. The 427ci stroked small block Chevy built by Cox Race engines has been equipped with AFR heads and has a chrome air filter and a Chevrolet stamped valve covers to create an amazing look. The engine has been equipped with an MSD distributor, custom Cox Racing Engine spark plug wires, and an Edelbrock intake. In front of the engine, a custom PRC aluminum radiator with 2 electric SPAL fans is responsible for cooling the engine. The block has been painted in the famous Chevy orange and looks great against the flat black engine bay. Spent gasses travel through the Stainless Works stainless steel headers through an exhaust system that has been upgraded to Stainless steel as well. Put the F-body on a lift and you will reveal a magnificently clean underside that doesn't disappoint at all. The Orange Chevy block and the aforementioned Stainless Steel exhaust looks fantastic against the flat black undercarriage. Under the car you'll find bolted to the orange Chevy block is a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed with a hydraulic clutch that sends over 500hp to a GM 12-bolt rear end with a gear with Moser axles. CPP 4-wheel disc brakes can be found at every corner, and the entire ride sits on 18“ Budnik Ice Flat Lip Billet rims that have been wrapped in BF Goodrich G-force radial T/A rubber. Open the door and the custom theme continues. Inside you will find a custom interior built by Southern Comfort. The two-tone leather interior excellently blends a gorgeous shade of black and the same inferno orange that can be found on the exterior of the body. In front of the driver's seat is a Momo steering wheel and a custom Detroit Speed dash with Auto Meter custom gauges. Within the speedometer the odometer reads 690 miles since the restoration was finished. Just below and to the right of the dash is an upgraded Clarion audio system that has USB and Aux ports. Between the driver's and passenger seats sits the shifter for the Tremec 5-speed, and a nice Auto Meter analog clock adds a nice touch to the interior. Slide back the console and you'll reveal the Power windows control. The results have made this car a multiple car show award winner, most notably was the Best of Show crown it took home at the annual Richard Petty car show at his shop in Level Cross in 2012. This Camaro is just plain fun and features a lot of comforts that are lost on the pony cars of old. This F-body is extremely well built, and is a great example of how to perfectly blend show and go. The overall look and the massive power plant under the hood pays tribute to the late 60's era, while the custom modern touches throughout the car make it an amazing ride to log miles from.
