Last year hiking up Millcreek Canyon in the snow with my wife I saw a couple guys riding fat bikes up the canyon, I thought dang I got to get my fat bike up here! So I did it, took some days off work, and drove up from California to see what it’s like riding in that much snow. Mill Creek during the winter they block the road off halfway up and reserve it for cross country skiers, Snowshoes, fat bikes, and if anybody wants to walk up it. I wasn’t sure how it was going to be so I ordered studs for my tires and studded them, just in case if it was going to be icy, but the conditions were perfect. The weather was perfect and the bike rolled very nicely across the packed snow, I did let air out several times until I got down to 2 1/2 pounds and I noticed the rear tire was wrinkling while I was peddling so I did add more air to 3 1/2 pounds and that seemed to be good. My plan was to ride up Millcreek and then take big water up to dog Lake but when I got up to big water which was 4 miles up, it was just like 3 f
