Here is the footage of the combat operation of heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A Solntsepyok of the Tula Airborne Forces unit in the zone of a special military operation near Soledar. Crews of the heavy flamethrower systems TOS-1A Solntsepyok of the Tula formation of the Airborne Forces perform tasks in the zone of a special military operation. RKhBZ Airborne Forces specialists deliver crushing blows with 220-mm thermobaric shells to Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the Soledar area, burning out their buried shelters, observation and strong points, ammunition caches and artillery positions. The peculiarities of the use of flamethrower systems make it possible to ignore the fortifications of fortified areas, since flammable shells are capable of penetrating and destroying the most protected objects and lightly armored vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. To ensure security and prevent enemy sabotage actions, the combat work of the Solntsepekov crews is covered by security groups on BMD-2KU airborne combat vehicles. Crews of combat vehicles have to work at night almost more often than during the day. This is safer, and additionally creates the effect of surprise for the enemy. The enemy, who has escaped the range of our heavy flamethrowers, most often prefers to leave the position. After completing a combat mission, the crews of the TOS-1A Solntsepyok quickly change combat positions and promptly reload the installations. Paratroopers also note the high efficiency and maneuverability of heavy flamethrower systems.
