No title. Transport devices and inventions. Group of workers spread gravel on a road as a large roller is moved over it to flatten it down. The roller is pushed by hand. Another shot of the man pushing the roller. We are then shown a new invention - a motor roller which runs on petrol. C/U of the wheel of the roller. L/S of roller coming towards the camera. When the operator needs to go back the other way he simply throws over the roller's handle. The roller moves along by itself. L/S of some kind of depot. A bus is driven past the camera. We then see 6 passengers inside the bus. The bus stops and one of the passengers opens the emergency exit on the upper deck. He folds down part of the bus and a lady steps out and onto the step ladder. The passengers then make their way out of the bus using this emergency exit. Next up is an “Expando“ van.
