Have you ever watched a sporting match and got so excited you broke out into sweat from jumping around like a rabbit. In round 16 of the Vodacom URC, the Emirates Lions faced top of the table Glasgow Warriors in one of the games of the tournament at Emirates Airline Park. After flanker Ruan Venter received a red card for his second high shot of the game, the Lions looked down and out and on their way to a right old hiding from the in form Scots. What a difference the bench can make and within minutes of Sanele Nohamba coming on, a counter ruck that made Glasgow’s ball spit out the back, was pounced on by full back Cuan Horn, which led to Edwill van der Merwe’s try under the posts and the first of 4 tries scored by the Lions in 10 minutes.
