These delicious treats will fly off the plate once you have made them. Even better with a cup of tea. JAMMY DODGERS SABLE AU CONFITURE Makes about 15-20 biscuits 1 ½ cups all purpose flour ½ cup almond flour 1 egg 1 Tbsp almond extract ½ cup plus 2 TBS soft butter ½ cup sugar Extra flour for dusting For the filling: ½ cup Strawberry jam ½ cup powdered sugar In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the almond extract, flour and almond flour. Mix until combined. Form into a ball and refrigerate for 2 hours. Dust a little flour onto the table and roll out the dough to about ¼ inch thick. Cut out na equal number of circles and then cut a center circle out of half. Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Spread jam onto the full cooked pastry circles. Dust the circles with holes in with powdered sugar and place on top of the jam.
