Slowly rotting in this dreadful existence is the seventh track on my upcoming album suicidal and forgotten. filled with depressive riffs, wailing shrieks, piercing vocals and haunting clean guitars lyrics: Every night I remember The nights that felt so alive I remember each time We'd smile even on the coldest days Now I look in the broken mirror And see how far we've drifted… I don't care how much I have to move on I want to feel this pain So time can tell you my wounds Will only get deeper Because I'd rather feel this pain Feeling of sorrow of bittersweet nostalgia Than to feel nothing at all When I think of you So this will be a painful reminder For me to never get close again Every tear with the scent of you Brings me back I press my face tight against the pillow The shape of our undying memories Torments me to this day I think I have utterly broken down Once again I guess we will see each other On the other side I hope in time you will No longer hate me I'm tired, exhausted Dwelling with every thought Tying me to this ground Under the merciless shadow of self regret Even the ghost of you Stains my memories Replay each elegy I have ever written And I will slowly rot But you will never know And you will never know my hurt Or the memories that still haunts me As I struggle to sleep at night Please come back… credits released July 7, 2023
