I want to share with you a side project I was working on during my vacation. I started this project just for fun, to keep my hands busy with some art and to learn new things in Unreal Engine. But it turned out to be something that looks like a small game called 'Someday.' I am a big fan of walking simulator games such as 'What Remains of Edith Finch,' 'The Vanishing of Ethan Carter,' and 'Dear Esther.' These games, especially 'Edith Finch,' became the main source of inspiration to create this small environment. This project not only provided good practice in Unreal Engine but also helped me learn a lot of new things. In addition to assembling, lighting, and compositions, I experimented with textures generated with AI, discovered efficient methods for auto-assembling, practiced with Path Traced Lighting, tested DLSS, and honed my skills in small story writing, sound design, making blueprints, and many more aspects.
