There's already some footage of me playing this song on The Internet (played it at Drumeo last year!), but it's one of my favorite 'Chapel songs to play live so I decided to record it again (mainly as an excuse to use my #Tama STAR 18“ Floor Tom. LOL). I hadn't played it in awhile (did rehearse it for a couple of days before tracking it, though) but my muscle memory served me well & it came back almost instantly. I'd never played this tune with an 18“ in the mix (live with W.C. I've just been using the 14“ / 16“ floors) but figured this would be a good song to add some big ol' 18“ accents in (& lemme tell ya, it sure IS! Lol !!!). I dunno ya'll... might have to keep this 18“ in my setup & start using it live, too ;) !
