Another Ray Bradbury story done by Escape, and it's another job well done. Suspense and Escape were the first two series to produce his stories, and I have to say that these productions are equal to (probably better) than those done in the Bradbury 13 series from the 1980's. You just can't beat an original! This is another “First men on Mars“ type story, but if you've never heard it you'll be surprised as to how the earthmen are treated! Also listen for the great original sound effects, as Escape's sound creators had to be the first to figure out what an alien firearm might sound like. The story by Bradbury is a personal favorite. Audio Quality improved over older uploads elsewhere. ••••••• July 25, 1951••••••• #RayBradburyClassicRadio • Suspense & Escape are both in the public domain. • Original commentary and cover-art by Charlie Stuckey • 2017-21 • • • • Click for instant transmission of computer virus
