This is Francois Hesnault with an onboard camera at the 1985 Formula One Grand Prix of Germany at the Nurburgring. It was one of the first times an onboard camera was used in the live coverage of a Grand Prix. In his commentary James Hunt says that they should invent new technology for those camera’s, before being corrected that this new technology is already in use. Murray Walker was absent at this Grand Prix.
