This unusual song was composed by Sri Chinmoy, a spiritual leader, musician and poet from India. My version is an instrumental, and incorporates Mandolin and Mandola, Khim (Thai hammer dulcimer), Autoharp, Acoustic 12-string Guitar, Djembe Drum, and Recorder Flutes. The notation in this video traces the melody and lyrics of the song. I have included artworks by David Koski as visuals. An interesting discovery is found on the last image (entitled “Wayward Planet”)—— if you stare continually at the orb in the center, some subtle optical motion effects occur. My arrangement was inspired by a quite angelic vocal and instrumental version, performed by followers of Sri Chinmoy, which can be found at this link:
