(3 Feb 1999) Serbo-Croat/Nat Serbian soldiers continue to patrol the border where Kosovo meets Albania, the site of recent clashes between ethnic Albanian rebels. The soldiers say tensions are heightened in the border area, with regular raids from the Albanians. Border posts in the area have been the scene of clashes between ethnic Albanian guerrillas and Yugoslav soldiers since the Serb crackdown on Kosovar Albanians began. The Serb authorities invited journalists to join one unit as it patrolled the border with Albania - on the look-out for arms smugglers.
