The backstage of one of Federico Fellini’s most beloved films, written by his collaborators Maurizio Mein and Liliana Betti, but on which the director himself seems to have intervened. In the document, broadcast for the first time on 19 June 1974, the story of the ideational process and the realization of some of the aspects that contributed to its uniqueness: the soundtrack composed by Nino Rota, Sandra Milo’s audition for the role of Gradisca, the actual creation of the faces of the film from casting to make-up.
