Nearly one million people in North Waziristan (a region in Pakistan) fled their homes in 2014 when the military launched an operation against militants. Two years later, they returned to their homes. But a barbed-wire filtration camp awaited them. Inside they were checked for involvement with terrorists. The refugees were not happy about this, but the local military claimed that security in the region could not be ensured in any other way. Is this true? Find out more in ’Waziristan.
