In this exclusive tour, shot during the Venice Boat Show where the boat made its global debut, Jack Haines gets to grips with one of the largest multihulls on the market to see what it has to offer. What is has to offer is size. Not just incredible width (it’s 15ft wider than the Ferretti Infynito 90) but also height - it’s gigantic! On board, there is a main deck owner’s cabin with private access to the forward terrace and three further guest cabins on the lower deck with space to sleep four crew. The twin VIP cabins, situated at the aft end of each hull are spectacular. The internal space is outstanding but both connect to the drop-down balconies on either side via watertight doors so guests in those cabins effectively have their private waterside terraces. The propulsion system is interesting, too, and it’s been developed in-house by Wider. It’s a hybrid system that uses electric motors, a battery bank, twin generators and over 170 square metres of solar panels. The system effectively juggles the energy sources depending on how the boat is being used but with a 10,000-litre fuel capacity it has a range of 3,000nm @ 8 knots. The Wider WiderCat 92 certainly does things its own way - watch the video and let us know what you think about the boat in the comments below. #yachtbuyer #wideryachts #widercat92 #yachttour #yachtreview #boattour #catamaran #catamarans #widercat92 #boattour #yacht #yachts #boat #boats #boating Our written review of the Wider WiderCat92 is now live!
