This video takes you on a journey into Gail and Glenn Giaimo's craft studio where they make their one-of-a-kind Christmas ornaments with vintage and antique materials. We synchronized our craft-making to the music of “Carol of the Bells“. Every ornament is made almost exclusively with antique and early vintage materials, including old glass ornaments with beautiful patina; detailed German made embossed scraps and chromolithographs (most of them predate the 1900s and are meticulously backed with early papers and/or old tinsel); a variety of old fabric to include chenille, lace, ribbon and metallic trims; old decorative tinsel (most of which is from old tree garlands); and old papers of all kinds, including lovely old-stock Dresden paper trims, crepe paper, old foil, gift wrap, and other embellishments.
