AQUON One is the first solar and green hydrogen-powered motor catamaran. This video explains the smart yacht's zero-emissions green energy system. The sustainable yacht AQUON One produces its own green energy. Its eco-propulsion runs with silent fuel-cell electric engines and allows more independence in cruising: AQUON One is a solar ship that produces renewable energy via photovoltaic cells. By means of electrolysis, energy and water are turned into green hydrogen as energy carrier / green hydrogen fuel. The hydrogen is reconverted into electricity through fuel cells, powering the silent electric engines and other electric appliances aboard. This allows AQUON One to be energetically self-sufficient for days. The hull and design of the catamaran are optimized for efficiency. As hydrogen is much lighter than diesel fuel or batteries, the constant weight of the yacht further enhances efficiency. Zero emissions: The only exhaust of the energy system is pure and clean water vapor
