The new ALT021 is a ultrahigh sensitivity version of our groundbreaking analog magnetometers. It can detect a very small magnet an inch away, or a large magnet more than a foot away. We demonstrate with a direct Arduino interface driving LEDs that indicate field strength and polarity. Key ALT021 specifications include high sensitivity; bipolar sensing; and large signals. It can also run on almost any power supply; it’s low power; compatible with inexpensive microcontrollers; and it comes in an ultraminiature package. Our existing analog sensor product line has ranges as high as a full Tesla, to a hundredth of a millitesla.
