In Revit we typically have many reference levels which only server for placing objects - while in IFC the levels are tied to the building structure and you usually don't want to have more than 1 level per building story. In this video you will see how the level instance properties “Building Story“ and “Story above“ can be used to manipulate, which levels will be included in your IFC file and also how multi-story elements like walls, columns and ducts can be split by building stories during the export.
