We are launching a new segment called The Crit House Masters. In this episode, we bring in two master photographers to discuss the work of a renowned master and take a deep dive into their work and process. Vivian Maier was a nanny who took photographs throughout her life without showing them to anyone, not even those closest to her. It wasn't until after she passed that her work became known to the larger world. She is now one of the biggest names in photography. How did she do such great work without the benefit of input from others, education, and guidance? Is it fair that her work is being presented to the world without her guidance to represent her ideas? Today's panelists are Neal Rantoul, a longtime educator, and photographer, and Lou Jones, a lifetime professional photographer.
