Dr. Luiza Petre is an experienced Cardiologist. Skilled in researching, organizing and conducting programs in many areas, with emphasis on Disease Prevention, Cardiac Imaging, Weight Loss and Age Management. She began her medical career in 2000 with a residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. In 2004 she was appointed a Cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York followed by a Cardiac CT mini fellowship. Dr. Petre is currently appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Cardiology at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Cardiology Clinical Instructor at NYU Langone Medical Center and is an active Fellow of American College of Cardiology (ACC), American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), American Society of Vascular Ultrasound (ASVU) and American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP).
