Rainbow Lattice Sunstone, Hart’s Range, Northern Territory. Feldspar with ilmenite and hematite inclusions. Very hard to capture all the amazing colours. In an article about it in “Gem & Geology“ mag in 1989, it says it’s a new form of Orthoclase Feldspar. And you geologists may understand this - “Initial testing showed that they were orthoclase feldspar containing crystal-lograpically oriented exsolution inclusions of ilmenite and hematite, which is responsible for the aventurescence“
