(Remastered) Joy To The World (Jeremiah was a bullfrog) was ranked by Billboard magazine as the year-end #1 pop single of 1971. With Chuck Negron on lead vocals, the Three Dog Night single spent six weeks at #1 and went on to sell 5 million copies worldwide, one of the best-selling singles of all time. Overdubbed with digitally remastered CD-audio, Joy To The World was lip-synced by Three Dog Night live on Solid Gold Salute to the Seventies in Hollywood, CA. Three Dog Night was written by Hoyt Axton. Coined by the group as a “silly kids song,“ Joy To The World was originally released on their fourth studio album Naturally in November 1970. Three Dog Night lead singers were Chuck Negron, Danny Hutton and Cory Wells (died in 2015). Former Three Dog Night member Chuck Negron regularly performs Joy To The World as a solo artist and on the Happy Together Tour with Flo and Eddie. He will be in concert again in 2018 with The Turtles and other Sixties artists. Watch Cal Vid Playlist of
