Designed and laser cut from stainless steel in the UK factory the bracket is designed to provide the highest level of protection for your Behringer or Midas rack mounted mixer. The unique design affixes to the mixers side panels at both the front and back, using 4 bolts per side (supplied with the bracket), instead of the standard 2 screws. The complimentary Allen key significantly reduces the risk of stripping the bolt head and the cylindrical bold design reduces the number of times the in/outs are connected & disconnected prolonging the life of the mixer. The bracket offers 3 different recess depths allowing you to position the mixer to your specific requirements. Additionally, when attached at position 2 & 3 you can route all of the XLRs, Jacks, Cat 5 and Midi cables through the sides of the bracket allowing you to leave the entire unit plugged in during transit and producing a tidy cable setup. The permanent connectivity is both a considerable time saver during setup/set-down and significantly reduces the number of times the in/outs are connected & disconnected during the mixers lifetime. Using the included Allen key you are less likely to strip the bolt heads and if you do, you can easily remove the bolts with a pair of standard pliers. 5 – Extend The Life Of Your Mixer The RM B18 reduces wear and tear on your mixer’s connections by giving you the ability to leave them plugged in thus reducing the number of times you will connect and disconnect cables to your mixer. 6 – Protect Your Cabling As the mixer is held further back in the rack when your XAir rack is placed on the floor your cables are far less likely to be accidentally kicked or brushed during operation, particularly the USB record stick (X12 version).
