In this video we look at four particular techniques from the Dan Dao Fa Xuan Ming Dynasty Manual for the two handed long sword. I have read three different translated versions of this manual, and there are excellent videos by Laoshi Scott M. Rodell @UCz0NUSnbgBjp0j4gBficTIw, The Scholar General @thescholar-general5975, and the Sword Lab Series from TLPA @TerraPrimeLightsaber One of the important things to keep in mind is that this is my movement translation (based on my martial arts experience) of a translation (from Ming Traditional Chinese to English) that was probably from a copy of a copy of the original manual, which is to say, differences are to be expected.
