After overturning Rishi Sunak’s decision to suspend UNRWA funding, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy has hinted at announcing a major shift in policy towards the International Criminal Court. This was in relation to the British government’s intervention to help Israel at the ICC by questioning the court’s jurisdiction. This came just hours before the International Court of Justice declared Israel an apartheid country whose occupation of Palestinian land was illegal.
