Slow food tour of the lagoon island known as the Garden of the Doge and taste the history of Venice in its foods. So to do this I took a local bus from Mestre to Padua along the Brenta Canal where the canal act as historic road or medium or travelling to the interior of the province of Veneto. along the way I stop by small comune villages to try local hand made tramezzino is an Italian sandwich first one Tuna pickled onions second Mushrooms and ham and Ricotta cheese cake wash down with freshly squeeze orange juice. Then in Padua I went to the local trattoria for Sunday buffet. barely salad and octopus vegetables salad. with in season peach fruit salad.
