As with my song Fireflies this is a song about the Fairy Queen. This time she is getting tired of it all. As a part of an everlasting cycle, she seduces a young man every midsummer and then kills him by luring him into the water. It is just what she does, but she finds no pleasure in it. While she finds humans fragile and brief, she also envies her victims - they are full of life, they are moving with the stream of time. She is standing in the stream and watching life passing her by. Some eons ago, she became immortal and she understands that it was a deal with the devil. The song is the last in a row of 7 interconnected song where this is the 5th to be released. For this video I wanted to try out a whimsical children book style and I am pretty happy with the result. One of the things I struggle with when using AI-tools is that it is hard to keep a consistent style or consistent characters in the video. I used Midjourney for creating the images (Midjourney is just the best when it comes to create images that are not too pretty) that I then feed into KlingAI and PixVerse for the animation part. While Midjourney easily delivers images in a consistent style the other tools still struggle with this. Often, they morph the initial style into something completely different and throughout the video the style differs a bit. For me it is a true liberation to be able to work with these tools – I have no talents when it comes to drawing and animation, but I have a lot of ideas and these tools help me turn my ideas into videos. I am not afraid that AI is taking over the creative arts – it is just another tool for us to work with. I hope you enjoy the video Lead vocals: Camila Castellani Lead / Backing vocal: Rasmus Fynbo Alex Duarte: Guitars Hugo Iglesias: Upright Bass Francesca Pratt: Drums
