During the second day of visiting President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, Russia, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about efforts to find a peaceful solution to the war in Ukraine. He told Putin that a solution “cannot be found on the battlefield ... we have to find peace through talks.“ He also said that the death of innocent children in war “shatters your heart and that pain is extremely horrific.“ The comment comes a day after a Russian missile struck a children's hospital. Russia rained missiles on Kyiv and other cities across Ukraine in broad daylight on Monday killing at least 44 civilians in the deadliest wave of air strikes for months.
