Andrew Murray, Chair of Stop the War in Britain, speaking in Strasbourg at the anti NATO demonstration. We have come here in the face of harassment from the police in Britain and in France. We are representing the millions of people who have marched in London over the last six or seven years against the aggression in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan, Israels slaughter in Gaza, and also we marched in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters who are targets of the war on terror. Our main demand today is simple: to the NATO leaders it is get out of Afghanistan! The NATO occupation of Afghanistan is supporting a government of corrupt drug dealers, which last week legalized rape. This is not a government, which we should be supporting, but a government, which should be overthrown. NATO is now supporting slaughter and possibly war in Pakistan.
