И_Кэндис Кинг 20/03/2024 candiceking A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to speak at the Legislative Plaza of our Tennessee State Capital on Gun Violence Prevention Advocacy Day. Tonight I can’t wait to get together with fellow community members of Nashville to discuss, and learn more, about the GOSAFE Act. We’re all busy. We have full lives. Not everyone is able to go and advocate at the capital on a Tuesday afternoon. That’s okay. Luckily there are so many other ways to show up for yourself, your family, and your community. You can make sure you’re registered to VOTE. And then, Vote! 😃 You can also educate yourself on who your local representatives are. You can email them and call their office with your concerns and questions. You can even can even call and email your senators! Like if you want to call your state senators, email them, and ask them to co-sponsor a bill that reinstates a federal assault weapons ban… Like the GOSAFE Act…You can! There are so many ways to participate 👏 Because your voice matters. So use it! 📣
