A September Storm Damaged my Garden (September garden2023)

A storm knocked down the biggest tree (black walnut) in my yard at night, landed on the pergola, damaged not only the wisteria, also the European Weeping beech and Japanese Larch. Due to so much rain, the tree crew came in 4 different times, on and off last almost a whole month. Thankfully the hemlock and Japanese maple trees underneath are saved after the operation, although many hydrangea shrubs were severely damaged. It’s so sad to see such majestic tree are gone… “The Lord gave and the Lord had taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.” - Job 1:21
