In this video Les and bab egg-splore the abandoned morton ray masonic temple in Malvern victoria. The lodge opened in 1922 and was a huge part of the local community. The masonic centre was expanded over the years with a function space added and a caretakers house erected behind the main hall. In the late 2000's or early 2010's the Lodge closed forever. It soon became a place for writers to “get up goooood“ and a place for pigeons to roost. But that's not the end of the story. As of January 2018 the centre is being converted into apartments. Some structures were demolished but the core building still remains as a relic of the dominance of freemasonry in the early 20th century in Victoria. Enjoy!
