My first review with a new HD camera and introducing an incredible variety of old U.S. rations up for review. This FPA review is not only an exciting look at an extremely uncommon ration, but also one that has some beautifully preserved components. The Food Packet Assault is the predecessor to the MCI and LRP (Meal, Combat, Individual) (Food Packet, Long Range Patrol) and was essentially a K Ration of the 1950's. A fascinating and transitional ration, a rare treat - true military food art. PS - I didn't realize until long after the shoot that those water purification tablets were missing from the ration. Noting it here and hoping someone can pass that along to anyone wondering about this in the comments. For correspondence, or to send a Military Ration for review, my exact mailing information is: Steve1989 3616 Harden Blvd 360 Lakeland, FL 33803
