This video is a self-running patch using two of the CGS/Serge panels I built recently. The Edelweiss (front panel by muffwiggler nordlead) & COA Vintage Voltron 3 Sequencer panel. There are no dedicated VCOs or VCFs in either panel, Serge Universal Slope Generators (USG) are used for all sounds and low-pass filtering. The Serge USG is possibly the most versatile synthesizer module ever created. Thanks to Ken Stone for the pcbs. The bass/chord sound is sequenced by the left programmer/sequencer section of the VV3, which drives two USGs in cycle mode. These two notes are mixed and sent directly to the output. The notes for the melody use the four rows of the right hand programmer/sequencer. All six Bidirectional Routers are used in this patch. Three of them are used to switch the row that is sent to a single cycling USG producing the melody. The other three routers switch the direction and rate of the clock signal driving the sequencer. The control signals that drive the routers are derived from th
