Shepherd's Bush, London. C/U of a piece of green sponge, tiny pieces are picked off. Over the shoulder shot of the man who is tearing pieces off. He is making a scale model of the Harlow housing scheme. C/U of the model which has been made at the request of the architect to assist him and the Harlow Corporation in future planning. The model has tiny trees and swimming pools - it took 450 hours to construct. C/Us of various parts of the model including miniature houses and gardens. Narrator explains that the firm featured (set up by Ken McCutchon) has also made models of the “new“ London Airport and the Kuwait Oil Refinery which shows tankers in the Port of Mina-Al-Ahmadi (Mina Al Ahmadi). C/Us of one of the workers Ralph Whitten using tweezers to set in position the bridge of a tug boat which is only five-eighths of an inch long. The mast is made from a single hair of a hog-bristle brush. A hair is set on the bench and trimmed to shape with a Stanley knife. It is then stuck on the tug. One of
