I found out that @dedicatedbrand sold Twin Peaks clothing so I bought some right away and I’m wearing a sweater in this video. I’ve been a Twin Peaks fanatic for years. I remember the hype when the show first aired and that hype is something we don’t see today. Twin Peaks were everywhere. I remember that our local department store had a huge pile of books of Laura Palmer’s Secret Diary in the the aisle. And the soundtrack was a big hit as well. Both the album and the single Falling, based on the theme for the show. David Lynch and Mark Frost created something very special, a piece of art that stood the test of time. Twin Peaks has always had a rather big and devoted fan base that never lost interest in the show. The return of Twin Peaks in 2017 was a huge success for the fans. Twin Peaks came back and did it in a way no one could have expected. I really hope that Lynch/Frost will continue to explore the world of Twin Peaks in the near future. As for myself, I learned that music was apart of something greater; art. If it wasn’t for Twin Peaks I wouldn’t have seen the big picture that music is an art that you can use in so many different ways and you don’t have to follow any rules. You can make your own rules, you can explore and bend the rules and you can break them. Sometimes Twin Peaks is not about the story it’s about the pictures and music and what emotions those pictures and music elicits.
