Brands Hatch January 2023, I think it needs to be seen to show just how easily/quickly things can go wrong. Find it hard not to cringe watching as you can clearly hear me being way to greedy on the throttle before the apex, diff pulls the rear and it was just too little too late on the correction. Onto the grass and it was then damage limitation, 80 mph into the barrier, I was expecting a big hit but didn’t anticipate being launched backwards into the air. Initial impact split the fuel tank filler allowing 40ltrs of VPower to flow in, luckily the impact also ripped the front dash off pulling my isolator connector. Sitting on the grass with your car upside down puts things into perspective and I certainly have no regrets on the money spent on safety. Helmet, FHR and roll cage allowed me to walk away from this, I don’t think the gdfautofab cage has a scratch on it.
