In my crochet tutorial today I’ll be showing you how to make this crochet wattle and gumnut applique. A crochet hook, I used a hook. A darning needle to weave in ends. Scissors. Thread and needle to stitch the pieces to the branch. A cockatiel with branch applique and a possum applique if desired. The size of the wattle and gumnut in Catona will be. The medium wattle and gumnut will be 12cm wide x high (” wide x ” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small wattle and gumnut will be 7cm wide x 11cm high (” wide x ” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
