How to make Cheez-Its at home with only 4 ingredients: cheddar cheese, flour, butter (or coconut oil), & salt! I’m honestly amazed at how crispy, cheesy, & adorable these homemade Cheez-Its turned out. You’d never guess they’re gluten-free!! I made gluten-free Cheez-Its with a GF all-purpose flour, and they turned out to be SUCH a convincing copycat. But you can also make this recipe with regular all-purpose flour instead—it’s up to you! Ultimately, unless you have a gluten sensitivity or allergy, “gluten-free” doesn’t make a snack inherently ‘healthier.’ Sometimes, store-bought gluten-free snacks have even MORE ingredients & are more processed than the glutinous version. If you (like me) LOVE classic, glutinous, processed Cheez-It crackers, I encourage you to give yourself permission to enjoy them fully! Yes, making your own Cheez-Its at home means the ingredients are simpler & less-processed. But really, what I love about making DIY processed snacks at home is getting to experience & appreciate ALL the steps that go into making these little cheese crackers. I find that I eat them more mindfully, and they somehow just taste better knowing all the care that went into them. Whether you give this homemade Cheez-Its recipe a try or this video inspires you to grab a box at the grocery store, I hope you enjoy every crunchy, cheesy bite! ★ SUBSCRIBE to the channel for new episodes on Thursdays! ★ Subscribe to our NEWSLETTER!
