Malleus Replacement Prosthesis (MRP) insertion in case of lateralized tympanic membrane

(Language: english/french). Right revision tympanoplasty following 4 previous failed surgeries for tympanic membrane lateralization with prosthesis (TORP) dislocation. Middle ear exploration reveals the presence of a TORP which was used by the previous surgeon. The prosthesis was postioned from the tympanic membrane to the stapes footplate (TM-to-footplate assembly). The malleus was not used as there was a severe tympanic membrane lateralization.
