Swindon, Wiltshire. Various shots of old steam engines being broken down into scrap metal at an engine yard. Several men work with axes to break down one engine - looks like hard and slow work! Piles of parts from the old trains lie around. A large electrically-powered magnet crane lifts a huge steel girder; when the current is switched off the girder falls to the ground.
