We love this scale so much and especially Alex has been playing it up and down non stop. The pentatonic arrangement of the top notes makes it dreamy, melancholic, super easy and intuitive to play. It opens up a huge horizon of melodies, giving it a strong base with the three low notes ranging below the F-Ding on the top. Big recommendation for a scale to start with. And to continue and never stop! ;) We are very excited that other makers, including Manik, are now using Ayasa's ember steel shells as well. We find the nice balance between tone stability, clarity and sustain that is supported by this great material.
