Sometimes, during cloudy weather, you can witness a phenomenon called a microburst. A microburst forms when hail or large raindrops fall through a layer of dry air. As the hailstones melt and the raindrops evaporate, they absorb latent heat from the surrounding air, cooling it significantly. This cooler air becomes much denser than the warmer air around it and sinks rapidly toward the surface, creating a powerful downdraft. #interesting #interastingfacts #uniquefacts #satisfying
