These are Double Blade Buugeng. They are my design. I wanted a pair that would be able to pull off the effect of normal buugeng but make them extra fancy. I have a pair of those super fancy swirly buugeng, but those don't hold the same effect with normal buugeng moves. The key to swirly buugeng lies in mostly haven't gotten there yet. One day in March, I thought of a 2 headed snake. I sent a drawing to Dai of my idea of adding an extra curve. Dai liked it and made them for me. Dai also gave them the name “Double Blade Buugeng.“ These are medium size and they are heavy for buugeng! Heavier than my large size. Made of wood. Painted half Metallic Copper, half Metallic Gold with a Metallic Silver Edge. Still working on those Kazaguruma (spinning fountain as known in poi). I'll get those down a little better soon.
