The carnage of my archives in this channel by the censors in You Tube is still going on. More and more films are being blocked by YT administration under the absurd and offensive accusation of “sowing hatred“ and “insulting other You Tube participants“ by me. Who knows my channel, which has been active for 12 years now, knows what an insult such accusations are to me. So far, I have published several thousand music videos presenting vintage recordings of many cultures: American, English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish or Polish and each of my films is full of respect and admiration for the cultural heritage of other nations and countries. However, the blocking of my films by YT only concerns those that reveal the truth about the Third Reich. With a hypocritical explanation that this is done “at the request of You Tubers“ who allegedly “feel offended“ by my films, removed is access only to those films in which - to the background music of the 1930s or 40s - I present pictures of Germany from the time of Hitler's rule or the time of the 3rd Reich's participation in the horrors of the Second World War. To the music of jazz orchestras from this period, e.g. Helmut Zachariah or songs of German artists popular at that time, e.g. Ilse Werner, I present slideshows of historical photographs with explanatory notes. These films, often made long ago, eg. 2010 or 2012, have not offended anyone for many years and only now is there a sudden “wave of protests“ against “sowing hatred“ by me? In my opinion, it is rather a disgusting ideological censorship and arrogant attempt to rewrite the European history of the 20th Century. Why does You Tube’s administration support the historical falsehoods? Why does it insult its oldest and most popular authors by committing a flagrant violation of freedom of speech and by not giving the slandered side, like me, any chance to defend himself or at least engage in dialogue with some invisible “execution committee“? This reminds me of the repulsive practices of Stalin-like totalitarianism. Therefore, I intend to close down my activities on the You Tube portal, where Internet freedom is reduced to total control of expression and manipulation of information in accordance with the new guidelines of world policy. I am disgusted by this and I do not intend to participate in it. What surprises me most is that such manipulation and censorship of human thoughts takes place on an American portal. For my generation, which grew up in communist captivity, America has always been our hope and defender of freedom. But a lot of time has passed since then. I am sorry to say, America is now a completely different nation as it seems. This note will be attached to a few more uploadings to come (until it is probably censored too) so that it can reach as many of my guests and friends as possible. Then I will end my activities in You Tube.
