The Communication Breakdown is a two-in-one-fuzz that covers all the bases when it comes to bender-style fuzz. Long associated with players like Beck, Page and Ronson, SolidGoldFX have preserved the essence of this fuzz sound while offering more tweak-ability and modern conveniences. Fuzz A on the right is the rare MK1.5 Bender which had 2 transistors like the Fuzz Face but much more midrange honk and a tighter gain structure. You can starve the voltage with the bias knob and instantly go back to 1966 with a sputtery sound or turn it up and take advantage of the extra gain afforded by its silicon transistors. On the left or B channel, is the more familiar MKII which has 3 transistors and therefore more gain and girth.
