The track marks 10 years since John first joined forces with Anjunadeep having signed ‘Open Frontier’ back in 2014. Within that time, John has released his ‘Komplex EP’ and single ‘Shadows Falling’, remixed Eli & Fur, and appeared on numerous compilations including Explorations 06, Anjunadeep 14, and more recently Reflections 09 with our sister label. John is a London-based producer and live act who founded Beesemyer Music in 2016 which is best known for releasing music from artists such as Pete Tong and Theo Kottis. John’s second appearance on Anjunadeep, his remix of Solomon Grey’s ‘Twilight’, went to #1 on Beatport and was supported by Tong and Skream. With ‘Khord’, the clue is in the name. The record features a long and rousing build up, culminating in a release of pressure with euphoric chords and arpeggios. Intense percussion and animated vocal samples carry the track which stands as another fine example of John’s impressive talent at crafting melodic techno. ‘Khord’ is out now on Anjunadeep.
