October 14, Day 46: Lo Wei-Ming, the remarkable Taiwanese star runner and Asian record holder, completed his fourth Sri Chinmoy 3100 Mile Race in the evening in 45:12:37:55. The national hero set a new remarkable world record (age 60 and over, male), and later did the 13 extra laps to go past the 5000km, in 45:15:03:57. Wei-Ming averaged miles/ km. He went past the previous age 60 record of 50:15:06:04 of William Sichel in 2014, by an incredible five days and three hours.
